Performances

The center aisle leading your eyes across the spacious stage to the famous Tschudi organ fill Talkington Hall with grandeur. Even still, it's the exquisite acoustics that garner the most feedback about why The Legacy is an outstanding space for any type of performance.

And the acoustics are why Texas Tech School of Music annually holds dozens of theatrical events, musical performances, and recitals in Talkington Hall, which can accommodate up to 400, including balcony seating. The Ballroom also has great sound and stage, and with seating for up to 250 can provide a more intimate environment and easy access to The Parlor, which functions perfectly as a reception area.

In addition, The Legacy Event Center is a permanent venue on Lubbock's First Friday Art Trail, which means guests can feast on grand artwork of various mediums located throughout the hallways and gallery before and after the performance.
